SFCC Foundation, Inc. Holiday Luncheon Fundraiser
Glenn Little (left), Keith Loweke, Dr. Kimberly Batty-Herbert, and Dr. Deborah Milliken attended the South Florida Community College Foundation Holiday Luncheon along with 155 supporters of the SFCC Foundation, Inc. on Dec. 10 at the Hotel Jacaranda. The luncheon is a fundraiser for SFCC’s scholarship funds. The meal was prepared by SFCC’s culinary students and the Hotel Jacaranda’s kitchen staff.
Scholarship students Sheila Figueroa and Jesus Martinez thanked the SFCC Foundation, Inc. and donors for their support without which they said they may have never gone to college. Figueroa is preparing to study business at the University of Central Florida, and Martinez will study architecture.
Keith Loweke displays the crystal serving tray he won from the SFCC Foundation, Inc. luncheon raffle. The raffle items were donated by SFCC District Board of Trustee Joan Hartt and Florida Hospital Heartland Division. Hartt and her elves decorated the Hotel Jacaranda lobby for the event.
