Trustees Honor Retiring Professor

On behalf of the SFSC District Board of Trustees, SFSC President Dr. Thomas Leitzel (right) presented Joel Boydston (middle) with a resolution and service pin honoring his 15-years of service to the college. Board chair Joe Wright (left) also thanked Boydston for his devotion to the college. Boydston became employed as an adjunct instructor and taught computer programming from 1989 until 1990, was hired full-time in 1999 as the instructor of  computer networking and communications, was the chair for the Business and Computer Technologies Department from August 2001 until June 2011, and retired Jan. 17 as the professor of computer networking and communications. Boydston also received a certificate designating him as professor emeritus.
