Showcase Florida’s Libraries through Snapshot Photo Contest
Participate in the Florida Library Snapshot Photo Contest on Thursday, and help showcase the contributions of Florida’s libraries. South Florida State College students and employees can enter the contest by taking pictures of themselves and friends involved in activities in any of SFSC’s libraries. The Jan. 30 Florida Library Snapshot Day provides a way for libraries of all types across the state to show what happens in a single day in their libraries.
The SFSC Library hours for Highlands Campus are 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Lake Placid Center, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Hardee Campus, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and DeSoto Campus, 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Photos must be posted to the library Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SFSClibrary by midnight on Jan. 30. Participants must have permission from each person shown in the photo, and winners will be chosen on Monday, Feb. 3. For more information, call 784-7305 or by emailing SFSC-Library@southflorida.edu.
