A Veterans Day Remembrance ceremony to honor all military veterans will be held Monday, Nov. 11, 10:45 a.m., at the flagpole on the South Florida College (SFSC) Highlands Campus.  The public is invited to attend.

The program includes opening welcome by Dr. Thomas Leitzel, president, SFSC, and remarks by SFSC student veterans and Rep. Cary Pigman. The Avon Park High School AFJROTC Color Guard; Knight of Columbus Color Corp, SFSC Performing Arts Club, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9853 will also be present during the ceremony. The program concludes with a Remembrance Walk along the SFSC campus.

SFSC thanks all veterans for their service to our country in the past and for their service to our community today. For more information on the event, contact Kris Juve at ext. 7189.
