Volleyball team wraps up season

The Lady Panther Volleyball team has wrapped up a season that Coach Kim Crawford describes as “outstanding.” With 10 wins and 16 losses, the Lady Panthers ranked fourth in the Suncoast Conference, just short of the third spot they needed to advance to the post-season playoffs, “but we moved up two spots since last season,” Crawford said.
The team was made up of three sophomores and nine freshmen, eight of which will return for the next season. “They were a very coachable group,” Crawford said. “They learned and grew with the game. This season’s team really impressed me and made me enjoy going to practice. I’m very happy that so many will be returning next season.”
