Soup Bowl Lunch to benefit SFCC Art Club
South Florida Community College’s Art Club will hold a soup bowl lunch Tuesday, Nov. 3 and Tuesday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., in Building B, Highlands Campus. The lunch includes soup, bread, dessert, and a drink, and is $5 per person.
The lunch will include a wide variety of homemade soups and desserts prepared by Art Club members and members of the Highlands art community. Decorative pottery created by the art students will also be on sale for $5 per piece. Other student art will also be available for purchase, and a silent auction will be held featuring prints and ceramics by local artists.
The soup bowl lunch is a fundraiser for the SFCC Art Club to help raise money for its December educational tour of Washington D.C. For more information, contact Cathy Futral, professor, Art, at ext. 7195.
