SFSC Employees Receive Chamber Awards
Two SFSC employees were recognized during the annual Sebring Chamber of Commerce banquet on Thursday, Jan. 24. Outgoing Sebring Chamber of Commerce chairman Dr. Mike McLeod received the Appreciation for Service Award for leading the chamber through over 100 meetings, events, and Centennial celebration. Jane Hancock, director, Planned and Major Giving, received the Thelma Pyle Volunteer Award.
“While Jane was chosen unanimously by our executive committee for this award of excellence in service to the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce, we are just a small example of her commitment to service,” said Steven Nyhan, Sebring Chamber of Commerce president. “It is Jane’s infectious spirit, ‘Let’s get this done!’ attitude, and countless hours of volunteering to the chamber and on behalf of several charities throughout community that serves as an inspiration to all those that know her.”
