Lady Panthers DIG PINK
On Oct. 23, the South Florida State College Lady Panther Volleyball team hosted its annual Dig Pink match to support the fight against breast cancer. Through pledges for digs, aces, kills, and blocks, t-shirts sales sponsored by SFSC’s Student Government Association, concession proceeds donated by SFSC Athletics, and additional fundraising led by the Lady Panthers, the team’s fundraising totaled well over its $1,500 goal in its support for a cure. The Lady Panthers defeated Indian River State College by scores of 25-21, 25-21, 24-26, 25-20 to win their final home match of the season.
