SFSC Welcomes You Back!
SFSC kicks off the 2012-13 academic year with its annual Welcome Back celebration, Monday, Aug. 20, 8:30 a.m., in the SFSC University Center Auditorium. Dr. Norm Stephens will welcome employees, introduce new employees, present service awards, and give an update on the state of the college.
Other presenters will include Don Appelquist, executive director, SFSC Foundations, Inc., who will speak about donations employees can make to the SFSC Foundation. Dr. Leanna Revell, vice president, Educational and Student Services, will give a SACS update and present faculty academic awards. Dr. Chris van der Kaay, Chief Information Officer, will give a GPS update and present the GPS Faculty Academy Awards. Susie Hale, director, Human Resources, will speak about the United Way campaign, and the Employee Assistance Program. Dr. Kimberly Batty-Herbert, president, SFSC Chapter of AFC, will discuss the benefits of AFC membership.
