Bob Sconyers, professor, dental education, demonstrates proper brushing techniques to a class at Memorial Elementary School during the Great American Teach In on Nov. 17. The Great American Teach In is a nationwide event in which members of the community are invited to schools to share their professions with students. Guest speakers introduce students to the various career opportunities as well as what type of education is required for those careers. Other SFCC employees who participated in the event were Rick Hitt, Deborah Gutierrez, Jane Hancock, Joel Boydston, and Junior Gray.
