Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony

A Veterans Day Remembrance ceremony to honor all military veterans will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 10:45 a.m., at the flagpole on the South Florida Community College Highlands Campus. The public is invited to attend.
The program includes guest speakers John Eason, Airman First Class, USAF, and Major James K. Galloway, USAF (Ret). The Avon Park High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (AFJROTC), Knights of Columbus, Our Lady Queen of the Universe Assembly, and the SFCC Basic Corrections Academy Class of 2011-235 will also be present during the ceremony. The program concludes with a Remembrance Walk along the SFCC campus.
