AFC’s Fall Yard Sale A Success
Food, fun and fall-like weather made for a successful AFC Fall Mega Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Highlands Campus.
Several hundred people strolled through the event, which raised $571.64 and exceeded last fall’s total of $319.84. AFC sold a record number of 33 tables, which included SFCC staff and student groups.
“Proceeds from this annual event go toward the AFC general fund and provides employees an opportunity to get together outside of the work setting,” said Keith Loweke, AFC President.
“It was such a pleasure to see something which requires a lot of effort and preparation on the part of so many people come together at the end to make the event a success,” said Dr. Kimberly Batty-Herbert, Dean, Arts and Sciences.

Awesome, my sisters and I enjoyed it. It was the first one I’ve attended.
