AFC Hosts Fall Mega Yard Sale
AFC will hold its Fall Mega Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 15, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.,in the SFCC Citrus Center parking lot. The mega sale is open to all employees, students, or club/organizations of SFCC and Highlands County Schools. Tables are $12 each and the proceeds from the sale of tables will benefit the SFCC chapter of FACC. AFC will have bottled water, coffee, and breakfast items available for purchase at the sale. Registration forms are available by contacting Lena Phelps, at ext. 7303.
AFC is in need of items for the AFC table. If any employees have items to sell, but don’t want to register for a table, items can be donated to be sold at the AFC table. All proceeds from these items will benefit SFCC’s AFC chapter. Unfortunately, AFC is unable to accept any large items, such as furniture, prior to the yard sale due to lack of storage space. If anyone does have any large items to donate, the items may be brought to the sale between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. on the morning of the sale.
AFC is also collecting books for the Fall Mega Yard Sale. All books written for leisurely reading, fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books are highly desired, but please no textbooks. If you are interested in donating books, AFC will pick up on the SFCC Highlands Campus. Please call Cathy Lewis, ext. 7330, or Kimberly Batty-Herbert, ext. 7329, to schedule a pick up.
