Building K Receives Recycled Air Conditioner

Submitted by on August 22, 2011 – 9:31 amNo Comment

The air conditioning unit for Building K on the SFCC Highlands Campus was recently replaced with a unit that was recycled from the recent Lake Placid Center renovations. By replacing the old air conditioner with the recycled air conditioner, SFCC saved approximately $110,000 that would have been spent purchasing a brand new system. This project was just one of many equipment recycling projects SFCC has completed over the past few years to save money and leverage existing equipment.
