SFCC Welcomes You Back!
SFCC kicks off the 2011-12 academic year with its annual Welcome Back celebration, Monday, Aug. 15, 8:30 a.m., in the SFCC University Center Auditorium. Dr. Norm Stephens will welcome employees, introduce new employees, present service awards, and give an update on the state of the college.
Other presenters will include:
Don Appelquist, executive director, SFCC Foundations, Inc., who will speak about donations employees can make to the SFCC Foundation. Dr. Chris van der Kaay, Institutional Effectiveness officer, will give a GPS update. Dr. Leanna Revell, vice president, Educational and Student Services, will give a SACS update and present faculty academic awards. Keith Loweke, president, SFCC Chapter of AFC, will discuss the benefits of AFC membership. Susie Hale, director, Human Resources, will speak about the Wellness Committee, the United Way campaign, and the Tobacco-Free College campaign.
