Nancy Dale’s Fourth Book to be Published
Adjunct instructor Nancy Dale’s new book “The Legacy of the Pioneer “Cow Hunters”– In Their Own Words” will be published early 2011. In part one of her book, local ranchers discuss how the generations of ranchers before them lived and the challenges they faced building their ranches during a time when Florida was wild.
In the second part of her book, Dale discusses “Old Florida” and tells true stories about Bok Tower, the Cracker Trail Ride, the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum in Big Cypress, eco safaris, and the jaguarundis wild cat.
This is Dale’s fourth book on the pioneer “cow hunters.” She writes their true stories to preserve Florida’s cultural heritage.
