The SFCC chapter of FACC meeting held on Oct. 20, hosted two candidates running for FACC state offices in November. Jayme Rothberg (left), candidate for vice president of commissions and dean of health occupations, Pasco-Hernando Community College (PHCC) , and Steve Schroeder, candidate for president-elect and director of governmental affairs, PHCC, discussed their platform of increasing FACC membership by offering more professional development and continuing education opportunities, making FACC commission meetings and conferences more accessible to members, and improving communication between commission chairs and members. SFCC’s FACC Convention delegates will vote for the state offices during the FACC Convention, Nov. 17-19, in Jacksonville.
