SFCC Holds Annual Halloween Parade, Costume Contest, and Halloweenie Roast
Ghosts and ghouls will once again haunt the SFCC Highlands Campus during the seventh Annual Halloween Costume Contest and Parade, on Friday, Oct. 29. The parade begins at 10 a.m., in Panther Cove. Following the parade, a costume contest will be held in Panther Cove at 11:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes. First place will receive $25, second place will receive $20, and third place will receive $15. The parade and contest is open to all SFCC employees and students.
A Halloweenie Roast will be held after the contest. Grilled hot dogs and other items will be available for $4. Anyone who gives blood when the Blood Mobile is on campus Oct. 27 and Oct. 29 will receive a ticket for a free lunch during the Halloweenie Roast. SFCC’s Halloween events are sponsored by the SFCC Social Committee, the Wellness Committee, and FACC.
