Gary Delatorre (right), newly elected chair of the SFCC District Board of Trustees, presents a plaque of appreciation to David Leidel for serving as board chair in 2009-10.
South Florida Community College’s District Board of Trustees elected Gary Delatorre of Hardee County as 2010-11 chair and Tim Backer of DeSoto County as vice chair. Delatorre was appointed to the board in 1999. Backer joined the board in 2009.
