Water Conservation Workshop at SFCC

The Southwest Florida Water Management District, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and South Florida Community College and will host a Water Conservation Workshop, Tuesday, June 22, 10 a.m.-noon, at the SFCC Citrus Center, Highlands Campus. The workshop is sponsored by a grant from the Peace River Basin Board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
Corine Burgess, Natural Resources Specialist, Highlands County Natural Resources Department, will discuss simple ways to save water and money. Participants can also trade in their old showerheads for a free low-flow showerhead.
