Michele Heston Receives Doctorate

SFCC now has another doctor as part of its faculty. Michele Heston, SFCC Nursing Education director, recently earned her Doctor of Philosophy in leadership and education degree with a specialization in higher education administration from Barry University.
“Dr. Heston completed her degree at a perfect time,” said Becky Sroda, associate dean, Allied Health/Dental Education. “We are preparing to apply for Candidacy for National League of Nursing Accreditation and the higher level degree will assure we are in compliance with the standard for the administrator’s credentials. We are very proud of her accomplishment.”
