Longenecker is Rotary’s Teacher of the Year

In March, Dan Longenecker, instructor, Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing, was named Postsecondary Vocational Teacher of the Year by the Avon Park Noon Rotary. “I was surprised and excited,” said Longenecker, who has held his current position for four years. Longenecker said the most rewarding aspects of his job is, “Helping students get a job and watching them do it well. That’s the most important. We train them to go out, get a job, and make a good living.”
