SFCC English and Humanities Professor Dr. Charlotte Pressler’s scholarly essay, He-Men Don’t Join the Klan: Rex Beach’s 1927 Anti-Klan Florida Novel The Mating Call, was recently accepted for publication in Florida Studies: Proceedings of the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Florida College English Association, published by Cambridge Scholars Press. Dr. Pressler presented her essay during the Florida College English Association Conference in October 2009.
