Summer Hours Offer Flexible Work Schedules

Submitted by on March 2, 2010 – 4:43 pmNo Comment

From Monday, May 10 through Friday, Aug. 16, SFCC employees may opt to work flexible schedules of four 10-hour days, four-and-a-half nine-hour days, or five eight-hour days. The college is closed for Memorial Day and Monday, July 5 for Independence Day. During those weeks, full-time employees will work eight-hour days.

Flex schedules must be approved by the employee’s supervisor. College offices must be staffed five days a week and provide the same services as the rest of the year.

The working day will begin no earlier than 7 a.m. and end no later than 7 p.m., except in departments that typically work outside of these hours. Employees must schedule a minimum of a 30-minute lunch each day.

For more information, contact the Human Resources Department at ext. 7248.
